Dr. Tammy Corbett-Alderman is a licensed psychologist with twenty plus years of experience. She is married with three children. Dr. Alderman has lived in the Cabell County area since she first enrolled at Marshall University in 1988. She has earned her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees in Psychology from Marshall University. She has extensive experience with a variety of populations providing both psychological assessment and psychotherapy. She has served as a community volunteer in both her church and local youth sports programs. She is devoted to improving the emotional wellbeing and quality of life of people in the tri-state area. Dr. Alderman is especially skilled with depression and anxiety disorders, as well as sexual offender and safety risk assessments. She is a BHHF approved forensic evaluator. She has served as an instructor at Marshall University and President of West Virginia Association of Professional Psychologists.
Wendy Manns is a licensed psychologist with her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Psychology. She is married with two children, and has lived in the Ohio-West Virginia area the entirety of her life. She has work experience as a Christian counselor and as an inpatient clinician. Wendy has worked as a volunteer for many years in both local churches and schools. She is especially skilled with young children and ADHD assessments. Wendy also provides Parent-Child Interaction Therapy for children ages 2-7 and their parents. Wendy is a BHHF approved forensic evaluator, conducting risk and competency assessments, as well as Parental Fitness Evaluations.
Michelle McCord is a licensed psychologist with a BA and MA in Psychology from Marshall University. She is married with two sons. Michelle has worked for many years with troubled youth and has extensive knowledge of placement options and long-term treatment facilities. She is a BHHF approved forensic evaluator, and she is skilled in risk assessments and Parental Fitness Evaluations. She is an approved IDD/CSED Waiver evaluator. She is skilled in ASD, ADHD, and LD evaluations. She has served on the West Virginia Association of Professional Psychologists executive committee and the WV Child Abuse and Neglect committee.
Dr. Elise Edwards is a licensed psychologist who obtained her bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees from Marshall University and has over ten years of experience in the field. Therapeutic interests include anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, body image concerns, health issues, adjustment disorders, grief, and ADHD. She primarily utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy interventions with a client-centered approach. Dr. Edwards also conducts psychological assessments, including parental fitness evaluations, ADHD evaluations, neuropsychological screening evaluations, vocational rehabilitation evaluations, and bariatric pre-surgical evaluations.
Anna Haddox is our psychometrician. She has a bachelor's degree in biology from Marshall University with four years of neuroscience research. She is currently in pursuit of her MA in Clinical Psychology at Marshall University. Anna is a West Virginia native that currently resides in Kanawha County with her husband and two dogs. She is passionate about her community and has many years of volunteer work with special needs and at-risk youth.
Christie Olson is our office manager. She is a married mother of two. She has lived in Cabell County her entire life. Christie assists with billing and patient accounts. Her kind and warm demeanor makes patients feel welcome right away.
When you call our office, you will speak to Courtney Braley, our office assistant. She is a mother of two young children. She is happy to help patients with scheduling and referrals. Courtney is compassionate and understands the demands of our community.
